WHITE TWP., NJ [September 17, 2004] – Warren County's next Veterans Recognition Ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., when more than 600 eligible veterans will be honored.

The event takes place in a beautiful outdoor setting at the county War Memorial, next to the Warren County Courthouse at the corner of Mansfield and Second streets, Belvidere, NJ. Veterans, or family members representing deceased veterans, will be receiving the Warren County Distinguished Military Service medal, a matching lapel pin and a certificate from members of the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

  Veterans will be arriving from 8:30 a.m. on to check in and receive their seat assignments. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with a flyover by vintage war planes. Veterans from World War II through Afghanistan and Iraq will be present.
