WHITE TOWNSHIP [February 13, 2004] - The Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert R. Wilk as Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator. Wilk will serve for a three-year term effective Feb. 12, 2004, through Feb. 11, 2007.
Wilk will report to Warren County Public Safety Director Bryan E. Burke. The freeholder board divided Burke’s position of Public Safety Director/Emergency Management Coordinator to create the new position, and Burke will continue to oversee the divisions within the Public Safety Department, including the Office of Emergency Management, the 9-1-1 Communications Center, Public Safety Information Systems, the county Fire Marshal, and the Warren County Fire Academy.
A Washington Township resident, Wilk retired from the New Jersey State Police in 2003 after a 22-year career. He also earned his law degree from Seton Hall School of Law and has a private law practice as a solo practitioner.
