WASHINGTON, NJ [December 6, 2004] – The Warren County Public Health Nursing Agency is sponsoring flu vaccination clinics for residents of Warren County on the following dates, times and locations:
- December 9 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Phillipsburg Nutrition Site located at 321 Marshall Street in Phillipsburg.
- December 14 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Belvidere Nutrition Site located at 409 Third Street in Belvidere.
- December 17 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Blairstown Nutrition Site located on East Avenue in Blairstown.
- December 21 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Hackettstown Nutrition Site located at 293 Main Street in Hackettstown.
Only adults who are in one of the following high-risk categories are eligible to receive the vaccination at the scheduled clinics. These groups include:
- People 65 years of age and older.
- People 19 years of age and older with underlying medical conditions that put them at high risk for influenza related complications.

Proof of age and Warren County residency must be provided in order to receive the vaccination. People under the age of 65 must provide a note from a physician written on either a prescription blank or letterhead stationery stating the person's name and that he or she is in a high-risk category for this flu season.
The cost of the vaccine is covered under Medicare Part B, Oxford Medicare HMO and Aetna Medicare HMO. For all others the cost of the vaccination is $10.00.
