A hearing on motions regarding the suit filed by Warren County and nine property owners who are challenging the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act has been postponed.
The hearing, which had been scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7 before Superior Court Judge Paul Innes at the Mercer County Courthouse, has been adjourned to Jan. 18, 2008.

The docket number for the case is MER-L-1021-07, and the upcoming court date is to hear a motion by the State of New Jersey to dismiss the suit filed by Warren County and the property owners, who are seeking to have the act declared unconstitutional.
