WHITE TWP. [November 21, 2006] – With the holidays approaching, the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders is seeking safer roads by proclaiming December to be National Drunk and Drugged Driving (3D) Prevention Month. Presenting the proclamation to Syria Geddis, county Department of Human Services representative to the Local Advisory Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, were (l-r) Freeholders John DiMaio, Director Everett A. Chamberlain, and Richard Gardner. “For thousands of families across the nation, the December holidays bring a somber reminder of the loved ones they lost to an impaired driver during a previous holiday season or at any time during the year,” Chamberlain said as he called for increased awareness of impaired driving problems. |
