Please take notice that, on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 beginning at 7:45 pm, in the Freeholders Meeting Room, Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building, 165 County Route 519 South, Belvidere, New Jersey, the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold two public hearings concerning amendments to the Warren County Solid Waste Management Plan in accordance with N.J.S.A. 13:1E-23 et.seq.  The amendments address the New Jersey Department’s of Environmental Protection requirement to have all counties update their respective solid waste plans. 
           
The first public hearing will address; designation of implementation agency, inventory of solid waste generated in the county for a 10 year period, inventory of solid waste and recycling facilities with block and lots, quantity of waste, hours of operations, truck routes, and a ten year solid waste disposal strategy.

  The second public hearing will be held immediately after the close of the hearing and will address the facility inclusion procedures and an updated Recycling Plan to address mandated materials, list of entities providing collection, processing and marketing, a communication program, and enforcement program. 
           
Copies of the plan amendment have been sent to the mayors in care of the office of the municipal clerk of each municipality with the county and are available there for inspection.  Copies of the document are also available for inspection in the office of the Warren County Planning Department, Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building, 165 County Route 519 South, Belvidere, New Jersey, 07823.
           
Comments can be submitted in writing to the office of the Warren County Planning Department at the address above prior to the time of the public hearing or comments can be delivered in person at the time of the public hearing.  Formal action may be taken at this hearing.
