The objective of the Warren County Surrogate's Office is to efficiently carry out the statutory functions in accordance with Title 3B of the New Jersey Statutes.

We will continue the same public service that has become a model in other Surrogate's Office in the state, with cooperation and compassion to clients who require our services at a most difficult time in their lives. We will continue to maintain the professional relationship that we have with attorneys and all who appear in our office.

Since taking office, I have computerized estate processing in the Surrogate Office and am in the process of establishing a web site to provide information and online forms for your convenience. I am working with the Office on Aging to introduce a free will program for qualified county seniors, a concept I suggested while serving as freeholder.

I am available to speak at meetings of organizations to discuss the functions of the Surrogate's Office, to better inform the public through these discussions. I will distribute informative pamphlets which have been designed for the general public so you may better understand the duties of the Surrogate's Office, including the value of having a will, and general probate procedures.

The Surrogate Court is pleased to provide at-home Surrogate services for people who are ill, homebound and handicapped and is in the process of establishing satellite office services to better serve the public.
