The Warren County 9-1-1 Communications Center is a division of the
Warren County Department of Public Safety. It provides emergency and
non-emergency call taking and dispatching services for all the police,
fire, and EMS emergency services agencies in Warren County except for
the Town of Phillipsburg, which maintains its own dispatch center.
The Communications Center is actually located
in Franklin Township near the Washington Township border directly behind
the Warren County Vocational-Technical School. It began 9-1-1 service in
November of 1994 and currently staffs about 25 employees, including 9-1-1
call-takers/dispatchers and administrative staff.
