The Warren County Department of Public Safety consists of the following Divisions:

  • Warren County 9-1-1 Communications Center

  • The Warren County 9-1-1 Communications Center provides emergency and non-emergency call taking and dispatching services for all the police, fire, and EMS emergency services agencies in Warren County. It began 9-1-1 service in November of 1994.

  • Warren County Office of Emergency Management

  • The main functions of the Office of Emergency Management are to provide emergency planning, mitigation, and resources for larger emergencies and disasters. It also serves as a liaison between municipal Emergency Management Offices and the State Police Office of Emergency Management, which can provide state and federal resources.

  • Warren County Fire Academy

  • The Academy is part of the Division of Fire and Life Safety which operates under the Department of Public Safety in association with the Warren County Community College. The Warren County Fire Academy provides fire and emergency response training to emergency service organizations throughout the county and northwest New Jersey. The Academy's mission is to provide the highest level of emergency response and management training as effectively and efficiently as possible. The mission is met through an ongoing program of curriculum development and delivery that uses the most up-to-date methods, and meets state and national standards and accreditation criteria.
