Warren County Health Department (WCHD) will conduct an H1N1 vaccine clinic for New Jersey residents in the target groups recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The clinic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hackettstown High School, 701 Warren St. Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
The target groups are:
- Anyone from 6 months to 24 years of age
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
- Health care and emergency medical personnel
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
This H1N1 vaccine is an injectable, inactivated vaccine and contains the preservative thimerosal. The vaccine is offered free of charge, and no appointment is required.
