Don’t allow old phone books to wind up in the landfill – recycle them instead.
Warren County residents and businesses can recycle old telephone books by taking them to the elementary schools in Belvidere, Blairstown, Knowlton, Harmony, Liberty and White Township. Telephone books also can be dropped off at the Hope Township Municipal Building.
There are containers set up outside these buildings for this purpose. The recycling program starts March 2 and will continue until March 31, 2009.
This project helps preserve the environment and benefits local participating schools.
