Although Warren County Senior centers continue to remain closed to the public for any onsite based activities such as congregate meals and exercise programs due to COVID-19 limitations, the Division of Aging and Disability Services is offering "GRAB and GO" hot meals five days a week to Warren County senior residents age 60 and older. All "GRAB and GO" meals will be made available through curbside pickup only. This service is available through the four senior center locations in Hackettstown, Knowlton, Washington, and Phillipsburg. COVID-19 safety precautions will apply to ensure safety of consumers and staff during the curb side meal pick up process. New participants are being accepted at this time. Home delivered meals are available for consumers who meet program guidelines. To register for the senior meals program, please contact the Division at 908-475-6591.

Monthly Activity Calendar

The Division of Aging and Disability Services and Warren County Library have partnered to offer Virtual Zumba lessons, Virtual Chair Yoga, and Virtual Tai Chi. Seniors can to participate in these activities in the convenience of their homes. Registration in advance is required and participants must be residents of Warren County, 60 and Older. Participants must also

  • Comply with safety instructions provided by the exercise instructors at all times.
  • Complete a Release of Liability form, participant registration form and mail or email them to the Division of Aging and Disability Services when registering online through the library portal. Participant registration data is collected for federal reporting purposes and all information obtained in the Division will be maintained under HIPPA confidentiality requirements and remain in compliance with any and all local, state and federal confidentiality laws.

Please feel free to register for the online virtual physical exercise programs and have some socialization with other participants while enjoying the virtual class.

Programs funded under the Older Americans Act allow participants to offer a voluntary donation. The Division’s suggested donation for 2020 physical exercise programs is $1.00 per class. Donations are VOLUNTARY and not mandated for participation.

Any voluntary donations can be mailed to: Division of Aging and Disability Services, Wayne Dumont Jr. Administration building, 165, Route 519 South, Belvidere NJ 07823. Please include: “For Exercise Programs” along with your donations. Donations are used to expand services under the Division.
